Day 6/The "Open Gaze" complex
WEEK 2
1. Exercise “The Back of the Neck”
The posterior surface of the neck is formed of a whole complex of the suboccipital muscles, which are in a state of chronic spasms and tension. This massage is aimed at improving blood flow in the back of the neck, reducing muscle hypertonicity, eliminating "textual" deformation, reducing the severity of "withers" (the seventh vertebra). The restoration of muscle tone will improve blood flow in the face, restore a healthy and radiant appearance of the skin, normalize venous outflow and lymphatic drainage from the aponeurosis area and thereby eliminate swelling of the under-eye area, forehead and temples. Reducing muscle hypertonicity will reduce the frequency and severity of headaches and neck pain.
Duration of the exercise: until there is a slight pinkness of the skin or a feeling of warmth. Choose the treatment time individually; as you adapt, the duration of the procedure can be increased from 10 seconds to 2 minutes.
2. Head Massage
This exercise aims to eliminate the spasm of the galea aponeurotica of the head, restore its elasticity and mobility, and reduce the tone of both parts of the occipital-frontal muscle, which will contribute to the adequate outflow of lymph and venous blood from the face and head. The exercise will eliminate swelling on the face (especially in the forehead and eye sockets), reduce the severity of headaches, create conditions for calm and relaxation and help you achieve emotional comfort and harmony. Eliminating the spasm of the occipital muscles normalizes the static of the neck and improves the “texting” neck; it will reduce the severity of muscle spasms that interfere with normal blood flow due to compression of large vessels of the neck. Also, this method will provide an analgesic effect and relieve chronic pain syndrome in the head and neck.
Duration of the exercise: until there is a slight pinkness of the skin or a feeling of warmth. Choose the treatment time individually; as you adapt, the duration of the procedure can be increased from 10 seconds to 2 minutes.
3. Exercise "Smoothing the Forehead"
This exercise allows you to smooth the relief of the forehead, eliminate roughness and unevenness of its surface, and make it smoother. Due to massage movements, collagen fibers are laid out in clear parallel lines, and wrinkles are eliminated and smoothed out. The method allows you to reduce the tone of the frontal belly of the occipital-frontal muscle, which helps to eliminate headaches, facilitates the outflow of lymph from the aponeurosis of the head, and reduces the severity of edema in the suborbital area. In addition, reducing the spasm of the frontal muscle eliminates the habit of wrinkling the forehead and frowning your eyebrows, which will favorably affect the look — it will become more open and friendly, the eyes will open up, and the tired and gloomy appearance will disappear.
Duration of the exercise: until there is a slight pinkness of the skin or a feeling of warmth. Choose the treatment time individually; as you adapt, the duration of the procedure can be increased from 10 seconds to 1 minute.
4. Exercise "Eyelids: Regeneration"
This exercise helps to increase blood flow in the soft tissues of the eye socket, provides oxygen delivery, and activates trophic processes. Stimulation of blood flow will allow you to start the process of synthesis of new collagen, which will restore the elasticity of the eyelid tissues and reduce their hanging over. A wide-open gaze, a beautiful and clear cut of the eyes will return. Stimulation of blood flow in the eyelid area improves the trophism of the oculomotor muscles and reduces their spasm and fatigue.
Duration of the exercise: until there is a slight pinkness of the skin or a feeling of warmth. Choose the treatment time individually; as you adapt, the duration of the procedure can be increased from 10 seconds to 1 minute.
5. Exercise "Lifting of the Nose Bridge"
This exercise reduces the spasm of emotionally valence muscles — the muscles wrinkling the eyebrows and the muscles of the proud (procerus muscle), contraction of which during the experience of negative emotions gives the face a frowning and ever dissatisfied look. And this spasm, being very persistent, does not disappear even after the termination of the negative stimulus. The exercise allows you to lift your eyebrows to the anatomically correct, higher position, eliminates the horizontal folds on the nose bridge, and removes the overhanging of the eyebrows over the eyes. Having eliminated the muscle spasm in the bridge of the nose, you will be surprised at your transformation: the upper part of the face will loosen, the look will become more open, and instead of sullenness and grimaces of discontent, relaxed tissues will give you a feeling of joy, harmony and desire to communicate with the whole world.
Duration of the exercise: until there is a slight pinkness of the skin or a feeling of warmth. Choose the treatment time individually; as you adapt, the duration of the procedure can be increased from 10 seconds to 1 minute.
6. Exercise "Elimination of Forehead Furrows"
This exercise will help smooth out the wrinkle between the eyebrows, relieve muscle tension, provide stimulation of new contractile proteins and components of the intercellular matrix, intensify collagen formation, and arrange its fibers along geometrically correct lines. According to facial feedback, eliminating muscle spasms in the nose bridge allows you to reduce negative emotions and regain a joyful and uplifted mood. So, let's tame “the muscle of the proud” and erase this “proud” wrinkle from the nose bridge!
Duration of the exercise: until there is a slight pinkness of the skin or a feeling of warmth. Choose the treatment time individually; as you adapt, the duration of the procedure can be increased from 10 seconds to 1 minute.
